Murray will be out the top 50 by year end. His game is a shambles, no power off the ground or on serve. He better get brad back ASAP because it's clear his game has fallen apart. The press will destroy him now habing hyped him so much and I don't think he will recoever from this loss quickly

My word, you're an idiot.  Out of the top 50?  You made that prediction once before and then he broke into the top 10.  You'll forgive me if your continued pessimism only reinforces my optimism.

Ah well, shit happens.  Andy needs to learn how to start the match as he means to go on.  You just can't wait until you're 2 sets down before you start to actually compete.  T'songa deserved it.  Andy is far too erratic at times and that second serve is a joke.  If you can't get your first serve percentage above 60% you simply can't afford to roll in the second serve so short, and right in the centre to boot.  Your second serve should still be a weapon, not a liability.

I don't doubt he'll recover from this soon, but it would have been nice for him to be in the mix in the latter stages.  All he needed to do was negotiate a tricky opening match and the quarters, at least, looked on the cards.

I dont post much anymore but i felt the need to pipe up and give my assessment before people come on get very negative and fuzzylike. Having watched the match in it entirety i think the main reason Andy lost is because Tsonga wanted it more, perhaps Andy was guilty of having half an eye on his overall tournament prospects instead of being fully in this game. Many said it and it was really true to say Tsonga was a nightmare of a first round draw, i think he would have beaten him in the 2nd or 3rd round. Taking nothing away from Tsonga tho, he wanted it and he ******* took it. Im sure Murray will still have a strong year and continue to progress. There will be the usual explosive ups and downs, and i think Wimbledon will be a highlight. We can all look forward to him coming back here next year with big scope to improve his ranking and put right this failure.

What positives? He's playing like a junior again, scopping the FH with no pace and being far too passive in general.

There is a major major positive: we won't have YOU around for the next couple of weeks...
