Right, they're on Listen Again now so here are the uploads. Great job with these, Nigel. And what a great plug at the end of the second interview. Is that when you noticed the increase?

Dutch journalists always use the wrong way of saying "Murray" (the English version in stead of the Scottish one) , myself included, i'll practise!

I had seven media requests yesterday - the three I did, plus Five Live (shifted the time so I couldn't do it), BBC Newsround (TV - bottled it), BBC London with Gaby Roslin and Paul Ross (very early-in-the-day text that I missed) and BBC News (reacted to text too late).

If I wanted to really make a name for myself, I could, couldn't I? Sadly, I don't.

You are a great representative for MW, Nigel. Love reading your reports, and you've got guts speaking live on media. I sure couldn't do it.
I promise I won't spank you again over the Olymps.  hug

I can understand the fear before a TV interview, it's terrifying but it's incredibly rewarding to know you've made that achievement. I would recommend doing it at least once so you have it ticked off your bucket list. You also have all the knowledge so fear of not knowing an answer shouldn't factor in.

And don't expect that you can keep having the choice because the media seem to only get really interested in Murray when something new and exciting is happening. The possibility of a first Slam led to all the pre-final hype but I don't think you'll see that much now.

Wimbledon is the last opportunity for media excitement. I hope I'm wrong but once Murray wins Wimbledon, I don't think the general public, and consequently the media, will take that much interest in future years.

Yes. It worked well. I'd already primed the researcher 2 hours before - told her what a great site this is and asked her to read my match report. She called me back and told me I'm amazing. I tried to disagree but she was adamant.  Whistle
