OMG Rolling Eyes What is she on?

Who knows with Jan Moir? What a contemptible person in general.

I agree.  Have never liked her so the tone of this article doesn't surprise me, even if she does give Andy some worthy credit in among the sarky remarks which are what passes for humour with her.

Andy has written another column for the BBC.

Nice to read Andy's positive comments about his practising on hard-courts and to hear his views as to who might win the tournament.  His comments about Novak's struggles were interesting too.  Trust the BBC to stick a video of Fed in the middle of it though!

Wouldn't that be great?  More positive opinions about Andy in the commentary box.

It would, and it's lovely to read all these positive comments.  I seriously hope he does come back and commentates at Wimbledon and maybe Queens too on a regular basis once he does retire from the Tour, which hopefully won't be for another 2/3 years at least.

The daily mail has an article in it about Andy being in a relay race as part of training today.  I think it's taken from instagram.  They refer to Andy as the  “Ex No One”. Is it me, or does this term seem less respectful than former No One?

Probably journalistic shorthand

Thanks Fiverings.  I’m probably over analysing again!

A very  nice article from Tignor, Aileen, thank you.
Said on R4 this morning that 6 years ago today, Andy won Olympic Gold. I just felt incredibly proud and sad. Time and his body are against him.
