More pics of a shirtless Andy training in Miami - in a slightly unorthodox fashion!

Using the more orthodox resistance band

Thanks for that Aileen, I was wondering if the hoops were to do with  balancing his hips/core.

He says he's been using the hoops for quite a while now to generally help loosen up his body without putting too much strain on it.

The hoops sound a good idea - I want one too.

I think I was quite good at it!  I thought they used to say they weren't very good for you?  But they must be all right because Andy uses them.

I remember hearing that said too but obviously Andy has proved them all wrong!   Maybe doing it for too long at a time would be bad for your back and hips though especially in young bodies which are still growing.

I think I will ask Santa for a hula hoop because it would be good exercise and it might help me to lose weight? Smile  Andy doesn't need to lose any weight, he looks good with the hula hoops.

The American Council on Exercise sponsored a study on the Calories expenditure of hula hoop as exercise.
The study found that it burned 210 calories in a 30 minute workout, or 7 calories per minute.....don't think time is on your side. Wink and a kiss
