You’re so nasty, yes Andy’s off his game, but their may be a reason. Where is your caring.
There is a reason. Namely that De Minaur is currently a much better player. Where is your grace in accepting that rather than always looking for an excuse?

He Knew he was going to get gubbed so chucked it half way through first set.A terrible attitude from him when so many people came to watch him and he served up that garbage he is absolutely wasting his time playing Wimbledon he will just get papped out in the first round I really hope he quits after it save himself anymore embarrassing results.

I think Andy simply looked tired today. He missed shots he normally wouldn't. He had no pop on his groundstrokes. Looking back, it may have been a bad decision to play two challengers before Queens if doing well at Queens was the goal. You roll the dice on a decision like that and hope it works out for you. At 36, it was just too much tennis to expect him to recover fast enough to play good tennis today.

My coms talking about Andy holding his neck throughout tha match. Could that be the problem?
Never heard mine mention it and nor did I see it. Just fatigued as far as I'm concerned. Also I don't think playing two Challengers was a good idea so close to Queens. That said my comms also said that the way de Minaur was playing he would have tested Andy even when he was right at the top of his game.

I’m not giving an excuse. But you guys jump in with your nastiness anytime Andy doesn't play up to speed. True fans do not do that, it's one thing to do constructive criticism but why add the nastiness?. But then I’m sure if it was you out there on the court you would be superb!!

It's a forum, we aren't there at the match. If you want to blindly support something then feel free, the rest of us are free to judge what we see.

Can’t say that about Elvis eh! Elvis, probably didn’t help him having too much of a gut when he popped his clogs.

A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

Having read about deM.‘s success on grass, I was not very optimistic. He seems to be a good all-rounder, which he proved today. After the first game, Andy never really had a chance - for whatever reason. A Wimbledon seeding seems far away, mainly due to his poor results on clay. One step forward, one step back: encouraging beginning to the year followed by a disappointing spring season. Very good challengers, yet not backed up by victories on the main tour.
