Far too casual. Should have blasted that down the line.

It's a Murray Duck!

From what I've seen he's really returning well today. That part of his game tends to shine on grass though.

Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

Couldn't agree with you more. I wish he would rest up and let the ankle heal properly. I keep seeing Andy Roddick going over in his ankle at Queens last year and every time Andy goes to the same edge of the court I can't look!
I know you're right but when it comes to it I can't help wanting him to win and I didn't want Janko T to get a lead in their head to head. Good to see Andy through to QFs therefore and despite the usual negative comments here saw some good shots from our Andy. Saw it up till the rain delay and then got back in in middle of 2nd set. Have recorded the rest to watch later.

To quote my new hero John Lloyd... "A very good performance from Andy Murray." Yes funny isn't it how much more positive JL was about Andy's performance today than some of Andy's 'fans' who have been posting on this thread.

Ruthie, I myself thought Andy looked very good. Tipsy had some lights out games but Andy kept cool and really raised his level when it mattered, notably to break serve back and the tie break

Tipsy had some lights out games but Andy kept cool and really raised his level when it mattered, notably to break serve back and the tie break I agree on the basis of what I managed to see bbh. Tipsy is a good player and a tricky one. And was v glad it didn't drag into a 3rd set. So it was a good workout for Andy and he sounded more positive about the ankle in the post-match interview, which was encouraging.

I agree with all of that BBH and Ruthie........I thought he was moving better today on the ankle too, but my heart was in my mouth when he had that slide and hurt his hip! Thank God he was OK!

Me too, Caz, I think we're all getting a bit paranoid as Wimbledon is coming up. He's playing well and all these different players are getting him in the swing for those he will meet on the hallowed turf (and No I don't mean Wembly!)
