All andy has to do next year really is reach the AO final again and he's almost garaunteed to get more weeks at no 1. But reaching a slam final is far from a sure thing.

You know something, I'm not one to buy easily into things, but I can't say the thought hadn't crossed my mind.  That said, whatever it was with him, if it even was something - it's over, and I think Djokovic knows that as well as anyone.

Would depend on what Djokovic does there, but if you deduct the 275 points from last year's Davis Cup final Andy's lead over him is 130 points, so it isn't much for the year end ranking and if Djokovic win's one match and Andy wins none then Djokovic gets the YE#1.
