Someone needs to tell me what Pimm's tastes like. I've never tried it and I'm too much of a wimp to try something without knowing what to expect. I like a nice glass of wine, but it doesn't go well with watching tennis (honestly, I can't hold a drink to save my life!) and I used to like Smirnoff Ice, but I can't drink it now because it's lemon flavoured. Citrus fruits and me don't get on because they trigger my migraines.
Some guidance for liquid refreshment during Wimbles would be nice
.
I only tried it for the first time last year, normally something like that wouldnt be strong enough for me lol, me being the cocktail connoisseur
anyway last years final I bought a bottle for me and mum to get us into the spirit of things. I just tossed it in a bowl with some fresh fruit and it tasted rank!! Only after I read the bottle did I realise your suppised to mix with lemonade lol....well me being a greedy bugger I put some vodka in as well
What about some ice cold bottles of corona or sol lager for ya teejay?? I quite enjoy that on a hot summers day with some lemon or lime wedges in the bottle. Not too alchoholic either so shouldn't give u a headache,
P.s pimms is a bit like sangria if uv ever had that.

I used to like a nice cold (Australian) beer when coming home from a hot day at work when in Australia, it hit the spot and its not to strong.

Yes, so do I, and I think we were both right last year Deb
.
I know Andy hasn't had the best year, but there are reasons for that. To my mind there have been plenty of signs this year that when Andy clicks again it will be good. I think it started to come together in Rome and then, we have to admit it, he did better than some were expecting at RG and played better than he ever has on the clay.
Let's not forget that Andy is now the best grass court player in the world. Queen's was blip this year because of his great run in RG. Besides, Andy wins Queen's in odd years, so it's his again next year
. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if Andy wins Wimbles again. I also wouldn't be surprised if he beats either Djokovic or Federer in the final, but I's dearly love him to get to a final against someone who has never won one. He's overdue for that.
We were very smug last year TJ
Oh that would just be the best scenario , hope fed doesn't get to the final , but then Andy beating him

That would be nice though the nerves before would not be!
And yes, Pimms and Sangria very similar. I do not know why this gap happened in my life but only tried sangria for first time while in Spain at Easter (am a wine fan so I guess that's why) and that was my happy thought - mmmm, very Pimms like. Roll on next Saturday for wine , Pimms and fun tennis.
