I had some understanding of how the seedings for the men work at Wimbledon, but I didn't realise the women's is done on the rankings. I don't quite know why I didn't know that. I suppose I just assumed that the special system they use for the men would also be used for the women. Obviously not.

I want to know if Andy will attend this year's China open
He hasnt played Beijing since 2010 so I do doubt it.

He's normally a regular at Shanghai though.

Yes, Shanghai of course, it is a Masters and he's won it numerous times so I certainly think he will be there, but Beijing is unlikely.

That is unfortunate because I wanted to go to the scene to watch the game。I live near Beijing。See him many times in the dream。I also think Chinese open level higher than Shanghai!...why..alas

I know it's irrelevant, but Andy is currently 9th in the live rankings, 520 points behind Milos Raonic. Ugh.

True but hopefully that makes him hungrier to defend his title to stay at fifth and brings home the 3rd slam

Oh, well. It's clearly not bothering Andy and not sure for what reasons it's bothering you. Onwards and Upwards!

I was at Wimbledon on tuesday, on #2 court. I had the "pleasure" of seeing Raonic playing some Australian bloke. Horrendous is the word. Big serve, random forehand thrash. That's Raonic's game in a nutshell.

Raonic has a lot of points from the Canadian Masters (I think) where he reached the final. I can't see him repeating that, even with his improved form.

It was just an observation... but a scary one if he loses in the next round. Not that that's likely.
