Murray's Ranking

Quote

After beating Mirnyi Andy will have at least 1440 points next Monday. Nieminen will drop a load this week, so he's 16th at worst. If he outperforms Djokovic this week he'll be 15th. I think Ferrer drops points also so 14th is up for grabs - certainly if he makes the final tomorrow.

Nieminen is not defending points this week and will still be on 1460, Andy is now on 1440, he needs to progress to go above the Fin. Ferrer is also not defending and will be on 1475

Looking good. Nieminen is defending a lot next week, and Ferrer is also defending quite a bit at the Aussie Open. It's going to be hard to make ground on Berdych though. Need to hope that neither Djokovic and Gasquet will win Adelaide.

I'm afraid I think it's Nole's for the taking.

Tough ask to beat Davydenko and Ljubicic (probable route to the title) but Andy is capable. Smile

Djokovic has reached the SFs of Adelaide. Gasquet lost in the QFs so Andy can't be overtaken by him at all now.
