Perfect draw for murray... so glad he is playing nadal now than earlier on... alot of emotion goes into these type of matches earlier in the torurnament playing nadal would just drain murray and probably wouldn't make it as far.

Rafa is probably going to take this in three or four close-ish sets. I can't help but be worried by Murray's slow starts and mid-set lulls, which have been especially bad at the FO for some reason.

My head says Rafa in 4 but my heart says Andy can do it and so for once I'm going with my heart in a show of solidarity with Andy. In the same way that Rafa improved his game so much against the sod yesterday so I think Andy will against Rafa who brings out the best in him. To my surprised Mats W said wind would favour Andy but I remember when Rafa blew him off court in a windy final in I think Indian Wells. I was surprised they are on first but I think it's better for the players as they know exactly when they're starting. And looks like it should be warm from the forecast someone posted. That should help Andy too. As I've said on another thread I was v encouraged by how often and successfully Andy came to the net yesterday. I was also encourged that he said he'd be watching videos of earlier matches between himself and Rafa. But don't like the sound of a sore throat. If I'd been there I'd have given him homeopathic aconite, which often stops sore throats in their tracks. Provided he plays a good match I won't be heartbroken (I think) if he loses as Rafa is my second favourite to win after Andy himself. So just play your best Andy and put your heart and soul into it.
Ps Hope you make it home in time Jan - we need you!

Off topic, sorry. How come you're in Norway, BTW? Been a couple of times. Lovely place, but the beer's a bit dear.
Q: How come? A: I'm a Wiganer, expat. living and working here for yonks and yonks.
Beer is a bit dear? Politely said.. I'd call it bl**dy crippling, wine & spirits even worse!

I don't think neither Clydey nor anyone else cares too much about what yuu think 'fuzzy', so why don't you go play somewhere else........preferably the M25!

When has Andy when he is playing Rafa has he made a slow start, or lost his concentration. He tends to come out very, very focused from the start and attacks every point he can. In 2009 in Australia he didn't allow Rafa to get into the match, same thing in Toronto. He always plays his best tennis against Rafa, so I don't think we need to worry on that score, all we have to worry about is how Rafa plays.

Faithless and predictable, Cahill and Gilbert, but not without some foundation given his performance in 2011.
'
What is it that's prevents him from capitalizing on his great games in the final and semi's?

A big decision for me tomorrow, going out with my daughter to look at wedding dresses or watch Andy (sorry Andy, this was booked before you even arrived in France!) I couldn't predict who will win but if the wind is a factor then it must be Nadal but Andy has nothing to lose and could come out really up for it. Either way it should be a cracking match, with memories of London in November!! If Andy is consistently agressive as he was against Berrer then maybe just maybe...........
