^ well I'd have thought that until the joker dismantled Thiem at their last meeting.
I watched that match and Thiem was absolutely knackered, having just reached two consecutive finals, and then went on to defeat Nadal in the QF in Rome, so I wouldn't take that one as a guide, particularly as he's been playing very good tennis here and has yet to drop a set.
