thanks atl et al for the info and pics. I thought the same bbh when I read that he plays chess and also is studying at university. But he does sound like as a tennis player he's primarily another big hitter - I hope not such a vocal one grunting-wise as his hero delpo. I too think Andy could lose the first set while he works him out but provided his tennis brain remains in gear like it was for the delpo match, I'd have thought he'd relish a match like this, I saw Jamie say that he thinks this match will suit Andy more than Isner but I'm always a bit nervous when he's playing a largely unknown quantity.

Thanks for digging out that photo, and for the H2H Bev. I've posted the H2H in the intro. I remember now that he was one of Andy's hitting partners during the Barcelona 2015 training block. There were a few 'gosh he makes Andy look tiny?' Karen must have been at Galo Blanco's academy then.
Halep is three points from serving up two baguettes, so Andy is going to be on much earlier than expected.

I do not believe it is a "healthy" development for tennis with all these big guys beyond 1,90m. In KK's match against Isner you rarely had any rallies, most sets ended in TB. Boring!
