Rothesay Open F: Andy Murray vs Arthur Cazaux

Quote

A former junior World No. 4, 20 year old Cazaux reached his career-high ranking of No. 181 on 12th June.  He won his maiden Challenger title in September 2022 in Nonthaburi, Thailand, entering the main draw as a qualifier and defeating Omar Jasika in the final.  In January this year he won his second title also at the Nonthaburi Challenger this time beating former top 50 player Lloyd Harris, and as a result moved more than 100 positions up to No. 265.  On 10th April he reached the top 200 at No. 199 following a semi-final showing in the Zadar Challenger, Croatia.  Receiving a wildcard for the French Open he lost to Corentin Moutet in four in round 1.  He reached the final here without dropping a set.

Early start which is good!
Great run for Andy over the past couple of weeks. Shows that he possibly should drop down to challenger level more often, especially when he isn't playing as consistently.
This Caxaux chap looks like he's on the up, but I expect Murray's experience to bring him through here.

I know we should be thankful BBC are showing challenger coverage but this is a pretty lame effort. The sound is poor too
