Jesus, here we go again. Set gone.

Frown Yup. I cant remember a match in which Rafa was broken so many times.

Funny how his opinion completely discredited Andy.
No Clydey = that's Fed's favourite occupation!! I still say Nadal is a different ball game. Subject closed - can we agree to disagree. I'd love Andy to win.

People still persisting with this injury nonsense? He breaks Andy 4 times in a row, winning the set with a break to love. Get real.

He should just retire from this match out of shame.

No ******* mercy here, Andy. Bagel him for this horse shit.

Spot on, jan. They're both tremendous fighters. Neither know the meaning of not going all out to win, whatever they're feeling like.
Thanks for that - this is the main point of any argument I had with Clydeyn or anyone else - and that is that - no more. Back to the tennis - please!!! Rolling Eyes

I think both players have won about 3 points on their own serves in the previous set.

Clydey - lots of top sportsmen play much of their careers carrying one niggling injury or another. Rafa's known to have issues with his knees, and there's nothing wrong with getting treatment for it.

Yes it disturbed Andy's concentration, but I don't believe that was the reason for Nadal to call the trainer. He was playing, his knee started to bother him, and he called the trainer before it interfered with his game. Nothing wrong with that at all. Andy needs to learn to deal with it.

And if he wins this, Andy will have won 9 out of 10 against the top 3. Even if you want to discredit this one, then making the argument that Andy doesn't regularly beat the top players outside the slams holds no water whatsoever.
