2019 Schedule Discussion Thread

It would help Andy's website were kept up to date.
I agree with you there because usually it's a waste of time checking it out for up to date information.  I understand that the task of doing this lies with a friend of Andy's, and if so, maybe Andy should have had a word with him about it long before now, assuming he bothers to look at it, that is.

"Andy Murray has confirmed he will play the inaugural ATP Cup tournament with Team GB. He will use his protected ranking to do so."

Will probably play the group stage in Perth, according to Mike Dickson.  He isn't happy though about its proximity to the AO.

He'll probably play the group stage in Perth, according to Mike Dickson, although he isn't happy about its proximity to the AO.  Still, it is supposedly "For The Love Of Country".

Wow Andy must be feeling great to sign up for so much. Where is the schedule, I would like to copy the schedule into my planner.

I am pleased that he has entered for GB.  Seems rather early to finalise draws when players fitness will be not certain?  I understand Andy's concern with it being close to AO but in many respects it is also a useful activity to get into the swing in Australia to be ready for the slam. Depends on the timetable of matches which I have not seen. Down side is that I understand it travels around Australia which is not so good.

As everyone has said, that is quite a schedule now.  Who will televise/stream the event?  I am guessing that the ATP cup will be on Prime if anywhere.

For confirmed and one possible 2019 Andy Murray included events, Click on the button with three horizontal lines at the top of this page. Then click on "schedule".  Alternatively look at the schedule updated by ATL in the first posting in this thread.

From this article it seems that this has still to be decided because I can't find any update since it was published in February - https://www.prnewswire.com/in/news-releases/broadcast-bidding-to-begin-for-atp-cup-men-s-tennis-new-season-launching-tournament-870325225.html

Dickson guessed that one wrong because now that the draw is out GB will play in Sydney, which might suit Andy's timescale a little better - https://www.atptour.com/en/news/atp-cup-draw-announced-sept-2019
