They both said it, Stan at Queen's and Jo at the USO. I've not quite forgiven Stan yet - he may have won the AO, but he said that off the back of his round 1 humiliation at Roland Garros and Andy had reached the SF there.
Really hope he gets a spanking in the next round !!

Yes! Come on Andy! Take this BP.

Monster of a serve from Kevin.

Expect Stan to step things up if he faces Andy. Though Andy owes Stan a beating after Stan said last summer that Andy was no longer the player he once was, and that basically nobody feared playing him anymore.

Humidity picking up as the day goes on. Not as bad as last week though. Yes there's a breeze. 4-8mph.

My Man Stan said that?

Source, leafie.

We get the same weather as NYC. 32 deg C today with light breeze.

I've been out of the loop with Kevin's US citizenship. How did this happen?

If Andy gets BP's on the 2nd serve he needs to take them but Anderson not looking too much of a threat overall.

Sorry to say that Stan was the first to say it aloud. He did say that 'maybe' Andy could come back, but there was a real sense that he was writing Andy off at the time. He said the same thing about Federer as well. His points were possibly valid, but sadly they did come across as a touch arrogant at the time, and of course in hindsight a little bit wrong.

'Murray is not the player he used to be'

Re Kevin's US citizenship, he's married to an American, went to university there, lives there, so I think it made sense for him to apply for citizenship. He sad he wouldn't be seeking to play Davis Cup for the US though.
