Dimitrov, who is currently ranked No. 19, has been suffering from a back problem but came back from two sets down against Alex Molcan in round 1 in a topsy-turvy match which saw Dimitrov go on to take the 3rd and 4th sets comfortably, then go 2-5 down in the fifth only to storm back to take the tiebreak 9-7.
