I have considered taking the day off even though his match is in the evening Biggest day of Andy's career by far, 4 sets would do nicely as I think he'd be too mentally fatigued to win in 5.

I felt the Nadal match was Murray's final. Beating Nadal was a huge effort for Andy, given how few UEs Nadal makes. He won't have that pressure to constantly come up with winners. Federer does make more mistakes because he plays high risk tennis. I said from the start that if Andy beats Rafa, he'll beat Federer.

Play is scheduled for 5pm New York time. That's 9am for me, and 10pm for you in the UK.

What was I drinking last night?

I think on the physical side Andy will be fine for this match, however I think because Federer has had a poor season a lot of people are underestimating just how good a player he still is.
This will be dependant entirely on which Andy decides to show up so could go either way.
I will go for Federer in 4.

I watched the match last night on Spanish TV (Channel Cuatro) and the commentators made a little doll of Andy and stuck pins in it, like a Voodoo doll, they then threw it all over their desks and were quite rude about him.....we got the last laugh as Andy won. Good luck with Federer Andy x x x x Murray in 4 for me

My life, currently

The Sunday play didn't take that long, so Andy's physically got lots in reserve. Federer's play has been improving through the tournament (as always), but as with the Nadal match, I think if Andy smells blood then he'll win it ... and I think Federer's gonna make enough mistakes to lose one of the first two sets. So Andy in 4 or 5. Damn, gotta choose. 5 then.
