Great genuine smiles at the end of the match.  Easily seen these guys are good friends.

Brilliant from Andy. Well done, super match. We're away at a wedding until next Wednesday and I'll miss out unless I'm in wi fi range. All my good wishes go with him for his next couple of matches, do hope he's still there to enjoy when I get home.
Enjoy the wedding Jan and dont worry, we'll look after the shop while you're away Very Happy

Good to see him serving well.  If he keeps serving that well, I'd make him tournament favourite.

Good movement.

Not reading much into the serve so far - he's played two guys whose returning is quite poor.

Would somebody please tell Henman that Andy was not limping between the points, but just doing what he calls is his normal slightly 'wonky' walk!  If his hip really was a problem he wouldn't have been able to get to and hit many of the shots that he did.

I think he served quite well actually until the end of the 3rd set, understandable maybe due to nerves but his serve speed most of the time was well into the 120 range and he hit his marks more often than not.

Genuinely pleasing performance from Andy, he looked dialed in and no concerns with his hip at all for me.

I've noticed the wonky walk more than in previous matches. Think

Me too.  It's a bit monkeyesque.

That's probably because you're looking for it Smile in any case, once you get a limp you suddenly walk the same without really noticing it even when it recovers.

From what Andy's said I think he'd agree with that, and it makes sense to me, particularly as he's made it plain that his hip doesn't hurt now when he's walking.  No doubt certain sections of the media will keep on obsessing about it.

And talking about funny walks,  Rafa's one has always struck me as being a little unusual.
