Dream final... it's what I wanted even if Federer is a more difficult opponent here.

Just reading the title makes me all giddy.

I don't think he'll win, but if he takes a set it'll be a minor victory. I think he's getting closer. His nerve has been incredible this tournament - today was the 4th match he's taken a very close 4th set to see it out when in danger of going to a 5th.

Expect the worst, hope for the best. Come on Andy.

I don't think he'll win either but one achievement at a time.

Wimbledon Final - Wow. This is bigger than big. I hope my apartment floor is ready for the pacing around that I'll be doing on it over the next 48 hours.

Side note: I wonder if the queen will decide to show up..

Exactly. It feels almost like winning a major just making the final here. He'll win one soon.

Would rather have Federer than Djokovic. Djokovic can hurt you off both wings, defends like an absolute fiend, and returns even better than Murray.

Federer is obviously favourite but we've never seen them play on grass, ahh, this is exciting, **** me!

He has beaten Smugfed many times before, I genuinely believe he can win if  he has the confidence to play his normal game and serves well. I really hope the Wimblers toffs put donw their Pimms long enough to  get behind him and really yell as that is what he needs - THE HAMPDEN ROAR!!. Come on Andy you can do it.  pray

Yes, but Murray's record in GS finals against Federer is 0-2. However, this is a new Andy Murray, calm under pressure and defiant against adversity. The last two matches, he has shown mental resolve that Rafa and Nole would be praised for.

Not being negative, but Federer plays his best tennis in grand slams. To think that Benneteau was 2 points from putting him out!

I've always wondered whether Murray would have the guts to serve out a game to take the Wimbledon title.

But look how he managed with the pressure of history on match point today, he came out with a stunner!

Come on, guys. Ask for forgiveness for your sins for Andy's sake even if you don't believe in it. And mean it. It won't hurt anyone.

Refuse to think about this. Am enjoying the moment. yay But if I was....Andy gets a set this time and if he gets a set.... Fingers crossed
Also, Nole was really off, apparently ill, so who really knows how Fed's playing. To me he looked his age at times  Whistle
