Henman on Murray

A five-set match was maybe what Andy Murray needed at this stage of the tournament.

His tough opener against Robert Kendrick was followed by two straightforward matches so it was great for him to come through that epic match against Stanislas Wawrinka.

It was a long four hours, but that won't hurt Murray as he is in such good shape that I don't envisage it being a problem for him physically or mentally.

If you have two or three of those matches then it might have an impact, but I think it will serve him well for his quarter-final with Juan Carlos Ferrero on Wednesday.

In actual fact, Ferrero is the perfect match-up for Murray as he doesn't have the same firepower as Wawrinka.

The Spaniard deserves serious respect as you don't get to world number one and win a Grand Slam title without being extremely good, but Murray has weapons to hurt him.

2nd on centre! Good! I'm sick of him being on 3rd, yes yes, we all know tea time prime time slot. But come onnn.

(Ferrerooooo has done amazing to get here and I love him so) but COME ON ANDYYY.

Yeah but there's still only 2 matches on CC today, so he's still last on! I wish they'd put Roddick v Hewitt first on C1 because I really wanted to see that one as well. Oh well can't have everything Smile

I simply do not believe it - I'm at work, where the IT department have always managed to block BBC live streams. I go onto the live text section of the Beeb website today, however, and a stream starts up without me even asking it to! COME ON!!!!!!! cmon yeah

Thinking about it, maybe they've caved in to pressure from someone in the organisation and decided to let it through today so people at work can watch Andy. Pretty harsh of them to block it, these things don't come around all that often... Think

The fact it didn't work before means IT almost certainly blocked the ports that allow Flash content to stream, which means not only BBC wouldn't work but lots of other Flash content wouldn't work. Either someone in IT wants to watch the match or it's possible someone in the company had a legitimate reason to access this type of flash content and when IT opened the port(s) it automatically allowed for the BBC to work as well.

Joe, just curious, start the test and I bet the only port that is open is 1935. That was probably the port that was previously closed.

Nope 1935 failed along with the rest. Think

If all of them failed you really shouldn't be able to watch the BBC video stream then. Think

Murray wants to win his next two matches easily as it could give him an edge for the final.  fed is going to have it tougher against Ivo and then harder still against Haas or Djoko, a match he could easily lose to either....He seemed nice and fresh in his interview yesterday with Barker, from what he was saying it was the lack of food that really bothered him towards the end...our boy was hungry!

Will be really exciting to see how he plays today, he has to break new ground, but this will be a year of firsts for him as it has been already...
