WTF 2016 RR3: Andy Murray vs Stan Wawrinka

Having watched Milos's matches, there's been no sign of the injury, so he must have a very good physio, given that he had a muscle tear.

That's what I was thinking, though I haven't seen him play this week.

Brilliant performance, maybe the best of the year from Andy. It is close between the match today and the match against Stan at Roland Garros.

Woohoo! For me, that was the best match of this event, so far. Prior to this, the only pretty thing around court was Kim's hair.

It was great to see Stanimal turn up to play, but it was Andy's incredible variety and patience that paid off. And he's so fresh!

Please, please, please let us have a Murray/Djokovic final on Sunday!  cmon yeah

Also.. either Cahill or Gilbert mentioned that they'd been talking to Lendl, who'd said something like Andy was "..ready now to be Number 1."  I liked that. I remember him saying, back in his first stint as Andy's coach, that he (Andy) just had to walk through the door,.. or words to that effect. That's always stuck with me.

Sorry but "Bouncy" has been thus for ever on the net.
Maybe so, but the huffy lady was the first person to mention it on here.  The reason for the huff was that she didn't think we took tennis seriously enough! Rolling Eyes  lol

Oh, well - onwards and upwards.   I can be a huffy lady as well.

Just off to the pub for a celebration after that performance.  After starting slowly really dominated the match.  The atmosphere in the o2 was odd at the start with lots of Federer clad supporters making a lot of noise.  Andy's break really shut them up.  After that one way traffic and Andy's movement was superb.  Really worth £85 I paid for the ticket. Onwards and upwards!

I don't think I ever heard that, or if I did I've forgotten, but it sounds good to me!

Just watched Djoko being interviewed, and he didn't look all that confident despite what he was saying.  Not, of course, that I would take anything for granted here.

Typical Andy really - doesn't play all that well in his first two matches, then comes out all guns blazing when it matters.  Let's just hope he keeps going that way!
