Good start to the 2024 season - Cam defeated Alex de Minaur 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(2) in the United Cup.

If you go onto the ATP/WTA Other Players thread you should get a link to free live streams. That said, Cam plays Taylor Fritz next at around 3:30 am on Sunday!

Unfortunately Cam wasn't successful against Taylor Fritz who beat him 7-6(5), 6-4.
His next stop is his 'home' tournament, the ASB Classic in Auckland, which starts on 8th January.

Cam was forced to withdraw from his QF match in Auckland due to a wrist injury. Really hope he's okay for the AO, and according to his team the withdrawal was 'precautionary'.
His ranking will also fall out of the top 20 for the first time since October 2021 on Monday.

Thanks for highlights TD. Good to see no sign of wrist injury.

Played a great match against Zverev in round 4, but lost in the 5th set tiebreak.

Coria vs Norrie
Coria won 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, which is a shame because Cam got to the final last year where he lost to Alcaraz, so will lose ranking points. Cam played well overall but ultimately was no match for Coria who rarely plays on surfaces other than clay. Hopefully he'll have better luck in Rio where he has a title to defend.

Navone vs NORRIE
Navone won 6-4, 6-2. Don't know if Cam was unwell or suffering from an injury, but he just wasn't with it right from the start.
According to reports Cam was struggling with the extremely hot and humid conditions.

You can also watch this on BBC Sport website.
Cam took the first 6-1, but Shima has woken up in the second. 4-4 now ... and he goes on to take the set 6-4.
Cam finally serves the set out 6-3 with an ace. Give Shimabukuro his due, given that there are 176 ranking points between them you wouldn't have known that here, and for that he got a good round of applause when he walked off court
