Dan! Just watched the third set. He served for the match at 5-4, went down love-40, clawed his way back to ad-in, match point, then ended up double-faulting to give the game away to Fritz. Then Fritz double-faulted to give Dan 15-40 points to break again! Huge rally and Dan puts the ball in the net. 30-40. This time Dan doesn't make a mistake! He serves for the match again at 6-5. And wins to love. Great playing.

Dan lost the 1st set 1-6 but took the 2nd 6-3.  I can't watch any more, but really hope Dan goes on to win!  cmon yeah

Watched the third set last night. Honestly, Dan is playing just about as well as I've ever seen him. There were some rallies where I couldn't believe he got the ball back. And Tommy Paul is also having the best season of his life so far, I think. So very well done. And I would think Dan would have an excellent chance against CarreƱo Busta. Semifinal!

I watched all three sets. It was a fantastic match played in good humour. During the final game of the first set, which he lost 6-1, Dan indulged in friendly banter with his opponent's coach, perhaps asking if Tom Paul was unbeatable. The two commentators agreed that Dan had played well in the first set and did not deserve such a low score. Tom finished rallies well and had quite a lot of luck.

Tom could not keep it up and ended the second set broken once. Both had break points in the final set with Dan winning  6 - 4.
Does anyone know if the match is being reshown anywhere?

You can watch it on replay if you have a TennisTV subscription (the ATP's streaming service). You can buy a short-term one, I think, or sign up and watch what you want for a few days and then cancel.

Would love to watch Dan's SF match against Pablo C B but I'm afraid my days of watching late night matches are well and truly over!  If anyone does watch it, a report would be greatly appreciated.

Shame Dan didn't win after such a valiant effort but at least his name is splashed all over the sports' media - this time for  the right reasons!  Also his ranking has now gone up 16 places to No. 23, just one point short of his career highest.

It isn't all gloom though because he and John Peers have reached the  final of the doubles, so still a chance of a title. cmon yeah

Unfortunately Dan & John Peers lose the doubles final 2-6, 6-4, 6-10 to Koolhof/Skupski.

And Pablo C B went on to lift his maiden Masters title at the age of 31, so well done to him!

Very fun match between Dan/Peers and Neil/Koolhof. Dan looked very cheerful. Very good week for him, tennis-wise and presumably financially!
