First set Emma 6-2.

Too many UEs from Shelby in the second.  Can't seem to find the court.

Finally at 5-0 down she holds serve to get on the board.

Emma struggling a bit to serve the match out but she keeps her composure and does so on her 4th MP.

Absolutely loving the happy smile on her face!

Shelby fell apart in the second set, but great effort from Emma in the first. From 0-2, 14-40 she really turned it round.

Two things really excite me about Raducanu. First, I can't see any real technical weaknesses in her game. Great at the baseline, great at the net, good serve, good movement. Second, she plays first strike aggressive tennis.

Yes, also the return. Like with Murray you always feel she has a shot at breaking.

I was reading an article in Tennis News about the amount of online abuse some women players get (Shelby Rogers being one of them) so I hope this doesn't happen to Emma particularly as there's a faction of Brits who don't see her as being British.
