Well... don't know if you watched it. It started out looking like the polar opposite of yesterday's match, Jo killing Bogdan, taking the first set 6-1, and going up 4-1 in the second. I thought it was all going to be over in an hour. Then Bogdan started playing better, Jo wobbled, and Bogdan served for the second set at 6-5. Jo managed to break and get to a tiebreak, and held a match point at 6-5. Then another wobble and Bogdan took the tiebreak. Eventually Jo broke B at 2-2 and ultimately got another break and won 6-2. But it was anything but simple!

Yep I watched it, jo  is not really a Clay court player likes to  go for it,and then gets entangled if not firing,  but she took the pressure and came through, I really think the Fed cup has given her a boast, well I hope so, but her movement on Clay will always make her suspect.

I really hope you're right too! She's so terrific when it's all working.

Go Jo! She beat her old nemesis the endlessly tricky Su-wei Hsieh in today's Rabat quarterfinal. Lost the first set in a tiebreak but didn't despair. She broke serve to get to 5-3 on her serve in both the second and third sets, got broken back to 5-4 both times and both times went on to break back again to take the set! She cut down on her unforced errors as the match went on and greatly improved her first-serve percentage, which I think was pretty key. Now she's in her first ever WTA semifinal on clay, playing Ajla Tomljanovic (who as I recall has also beaten her before). Would be terrific if she made it to the final.

Thank you for posting the  link. I managed to watch the second half of the second set so saw a Jo victory.
Apart from some nervy bits to me she looked better than she has for some time. Excluding Fed Cup efforts!

Go Jo! She dominated Tomljanovic in the first set and then hung on in a much tighter second which she just won 9-7 in a tiebreak. Into the Rabat final! Her best showing in a long time.

Go Jo,! watched the Match, held her nerve when the going got tough in the second set
So good to see her in a final again and a clay court one at that, Sakkari won't be easy, but Jo beat her at the Fed Cup recently(hard) and Sakkari does not have a WTA title so a big occasion for her
Fingers crossed  cmon yeah
