I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Wow... Is that your first Dell Nigel! You're gonna love it!
It's cool. But can anyone help with this issue? When I open up the web (on Firefox), the web page covers only about 80% of the screen and I can see the desktop behind, around the edges. It's driving me mad. Assume it's a Firefox issue. Anyone know which buttons to press?

Ah right, thanks. I didn't remember that but guess it's somewhere way back in this thread.

Well you probably went for Dell on the basis of your own research rather than my recommendation, but I still felt relieved you were happy with it!

Did you try clicking on the little box in the upper right of your screen to make it a full screen, right next to the X?

Nigel......I've only just started using my new Dell and it's the same! When I mentioned to my 'computer guru' that my homepage doesn't now take up the whole screen, he says it's just the way that page is designed! I've found the same thing on some websites, but I 'do' get full coverage of the screen on MW! I've noticed that though my screensize is the same as my old PC.....15. 1/2 inches, it's a different shape altogether! It's longer and narrower! I'm wondering if it's to do with 'widescreen' like in TVs and maybe more sites might change to that in the future! In the past, I have been on sites where my old screen couldn't fit in the whole width of the page, so....maybe that's why! I hope this makes sense!
