Wow at higher it;s 70% an A lol

EDIT: is that the actualy percentages you got?

Actually that kinda depends on the exam. They adjust the goalposts depending on how difficult they percieve the exam was set by looking at what people got. Sometimes an A was as high as 75-78% and occasionally went down to 68%. Never went any lower than that I'm assured. That's why at prelim level we had to get 75% for an A. The school didn't appeal for you unless you had 75%. Said in all their time they never got a positive outcome for an appeal that the prelim marks were less than that.

It's your first exams... and you can't really know what to expect then. You can always retake them.. But well done. Smile

I'm gunna retake them! Well the C's anyway, at the end of the day they're only a third of my final grade, so now I've kinda gotten over the inital "Oh they're terrible" phase I had. Thankyou Smile

When I did my GCSE's I aimed for C's.  And when I got my results through thats the first thing I looked for and I was like "woooooooo 7 C's!! yay " and it was only like 20 minutes after that I saw a B and then an A on the sheet.  I was well surprised lol

My exams weren't my GCSE's? You probably know that and that was just a random story, but just to check!

I know.  I guess it was a "aim low and don't get disappointed" story lol

Yeah I know that, but generally speaking it/s 50-60 C, 60-70 B 70-100 A. My point was that the AS-level ones were a whole tier different.

Nah - I don't like that. old

"Expect nothing and you'll probably get it" is the likely result. lol

If you're dissatisfied with what you get, you're more likely to try and improve it ...
