They're great results but if you're disappointed use it. That's what I got for my highers and I was disappointed too. So in 6th year i went on to prove something and I got AAB and replaced some of my disappointing higher results with better SYS results (cause that's what we sat at the time!)
If you're not doing 6th year do it at uni. prove to yourself that you're better than that. After all it's just a bit of paper that tells you how you were that day. if you know you can do better, do it!

Yep. Don't let it get you down. Just ace the next lot of exams you do.
It's often the case that you get below what you thought you might. Last semester was the first time in my life, school or uni, where I've felt confident I aced everything and actually did do so when the results came.

I won't be doing a sixth year, no. I guess I got what I needed for entry to university but I really should have done much better especially for French considering I got 68% in the prelim. Thanks anyway, guys - could have been worse.

Exactly! You could have not got in. But I do know how you feel. You feel wrong to be disappointed when others are so much worse off than you and would love a's and B's but you still think you could have done better.
But trust me, as soon as you get to uni no one cares what letters you got at higher, it's what you're doing there that counts.

Agreed - all of my friends can't believe I'm disappointed in myself but I should have done better.
Oh well, cheers Lorna.

I kind of know how you feel, not doing as well as you should have. Although you did get the results you needed.
Hopefully Andy and Rangers will to cheer you up if you haven't already by then.
When does the results usually come out for us (first Tuesday in August?), and I wonder how well Bill done.

They're great results, congrats! Uni, here you come!
Like everyone else has said, those marks will get you into uni, and that's fantastic! Once you're there you'll be far more worried about your uni exams (and other more exciting parts of uni life!) to think about highers
