I passed my accounts exam
No having to resit the last two years now, and I've only got one more year to go then I graduate

I was wondering - after the Exam Results are all in and you have the job of your dreams, what is going to be your first major purchase? Amy talking about cars in another thread is what made me wonder ...

This is a major question for me! It was always going to be a Mulberry Bayswater but (a) everyone has them and (b) my flatmate got her Dad to buy her the one I wanted (grrrr).... so then I moved onto the Mulberry Alexa, but it's hella expensive and I'm not sure I love it that much. There's a cute Barbour bag which is very cute and much cheaper... I don't know, I need suggestions!

Everyone has a Bayswater? They're £700!!!!
Would never spend that amount of money on a bag!
I think mine would have to do something with my dad because he payed a hell of a lot of money to get me through school... I would be looking at the Russian icebreaker North Pole voyage, £16k for two people but he is obsessed with that kind of stuff.

Seriously, go into the City of London at lunchtime - every other woman you see will have a Bayswater - never realised how ridiculous it was until I worked at EAT in the City.
£16k for a first paycheck is pretty good!!

But what do I do with my mum?
Mums are always there for you in a different way to your dad...

Hopefully when I'm in my late 20s it won't be as much of a problem!
I pray to god by the time I get a job, London will be a little more casual, seeing a lot of guys in smart jeans and pin-striped shirts these days.
