You kray?  Black Ops didn't have zombies. confused
Yes it bleddy did.

http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Zombies_(mode)

Anyway, have started again on this after changing my mind on the amount of sets per match. Now set it to normal figures bar Qualies (still 1).

Just played a match on Junior 3 and won 7-6 (2), having twice served for the match (serial choker). Set the timeline to 2010-2025 so the rankings are set to the start of 2010 (although Jack Carpenter is #202 confused). The top 100 is realistic enough. So much effort put it this game, it really is quite incredible. So enjoyable. Why can't Top Spin be as realistic as this?

Does it save automatically? I'm scared to exit at the moment.

Oh, and Barry Cowan's in my game. Neutral

I can see why Andy gets so pissed at himself when he makes an error now.

F**k me it's weird playing from the top.

Andrew what difficulty do you play on?
Wut wut? unsure

I should imagine so, at least BO1 did.

My XBL doesn't work here at the moment, which is a right pain. My flatmates is fine. I think it's probably to do with the splitter type device I'm using. Might have to try plugging it directly into the wall and see if that works.

Don't play from the top. Change the camera settings so you're always at the bottom.

Oh didn't realise that was possible, cheers.

I always seem to start average/poor then beat them comfortably. 7-6, 6-3 - 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 - 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 - 6-7, 6-0, 6-2.

The only exceptions were the first final (hammered by Dabul 3&1) and another match where I was in the zone and won 1&3.

The latter two (Dabul final and the 6-7, 6-0, 6-2) were on Junior 6, previous ones on Junior 3.

Just beat Go Soeda in a 55 minute marathon, 1-6, 6-4, 6-1. Thought it was going the same way as the Dabul match at first but whilst getting hammered first set I noticed he was tiring quicker than I was, so started focusing on stretching him round the court, drawing out the points. Started using the slice a lot more (previous I've just been a one-dimensional Berdych-esque aggressive baseliner). Eventually he started making more errors and I learned when to deploy the acceleration shot and when not to. Easily the most enjoyable match I've played so far. Into Spain F1 SFs now (having got a WC after reaching the final in the Germany F1).

First double.

Just won my first Futures, winning the final 6-1, 6-2. On Junior 6.

Uh went to play my first match in the Heilbronn Challenger and it was like this:

Like some frozen graphic in the background at a really gay angle that I can't seem to change. Something gone wrong when I've patched it?

Doesn't help that I'm playing Cuevas who has pretty insane stats (miles better than the likes of Soeda and Jaziri who I've played before).

Anyone know what the problem is / if it's fixable? Or should I just retire and move on to the next tournament?

The angle can't be changed. That's how it is. Different tournaments have different perspectives, just like tv coverage for different tournaments.

Not sure about the other issues.

Up to 209th in the world, top seed at Casablanca and have reached the semis, yet to play.

Ryder Cup has dominated the weekend so far!

Ah right, that's annoying. Something's still clearly not right though, graphics are all messed up.

I'm #245 in the world after week 5. Final of Germany F1 (lost 3-6, 1-6 to Dabul), won in Spain (beat Soeda 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 en route), then in Guatemala (beat Jaziri 6-3, 6-4).

Got a WC into Heilbronn but lost that match 1-6, 4-6 to Cuevas. So took a week off to use experience and now trying to qualify for Caloundra CH.

Just came from 1-5, 40-0 down against Albert Ramos to take the first set 7-5.

Saves 6 set points in all, four in that game and two in his next service game.

Oddly I made an almost identical comeback in my previous match against Matty Ebden, from 2-5 down to win 7-5, 6-3.

Against the top 100 players (top 100 IRL) I have a similar tactic now. They always come out all guns blazing, pretty unplayable, and I quickly find myself a double break down. So instead I focus on just wearing them down as much as possible until the point (usually around 5-1, 5-2) where they stop hitting winners and I can ground them into long rallies before they error.

Also how much luck do the AI get on net cords? I have had one in my entire time of playing and it ended up going out (would have been a clear winner otherwise). Meanwhile the AI have had at least a dozen and about 3/4 of those have won the point outright when I've been well in the rally.

Just beat Michael Berrer 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. By far my toughest win so far. He has a massive serve and constantly comes into the net. And my lob stats suck. Did manage to win 46% of the points when he came into the net. Doesn't get any easier - Tobias Kamke next. This tournament I've played Ebden - Ramos - Berrer - Kamke. Potentially Matosevic or Andujar in the final if I can get there.

For some reason Pablo Andujar is 29 on this game. And this is in 2010. Neutral

Starace is the most bullsh*t player on this game. Plays like f**king Djokovic. When I dominate the rallies he gets absolutely everything back. I'm literally hitting all the lines, both sides and he just runs it all down before hitting a 100mph backhand into the corner when he's out of stamina. In regular rallies he will just pummel both corners without fail. Even when I edge ahead he'll suddenly play out of this world tennis. I broke him at 2-2, go 30-0 up, he then hits two return winners on perfectly placed 120mph serves. Every break point and he suddenly hits on-fire-mode. I'm on 1/11 on break points, and I haven't errored on any of them. Impossible. I'm sure he's on drugs.

Also why is it that I can run lightning quick along the baseline but when I run forwards I'm slower than a doped slug?

Haven't played this for a while, and when the new Football Manager comes out, I doubt I'll play it for ages!

Speaking of which, got Football Manager pre-ordered from the UK for under half the price they like to charge us in NZ. You're mad if you ever want to buy a game in a shop here.

Means I'll have to wait a week or 2 after release day to get it but I never really get into FM on the 1st day anyway. I don't tend to launch into a career until the patch has been released as the fixes never apply to your saved games, only to new ones. Looking forward to it though as I didn't get last year's version.
