Sounds delicious
And speaking of random acts of kindness - hubby phoned me today to say that he'd called in a shop on the outskirts of Auckland that sold 'British goods' and has picked me up a bag of iced gems.
He will be rewarded accordingly
Sounds like "Valentine's Day" happens a lot at your house ...

Unfortunately I had to blow my cover by actually asking my girlfriend what size her middle finger is...

Not one for Valentines Day myself. My evening will be spent humiliating myself by dancing in front of a hall full of pupils. Christmas Variety show has been postponed till then! I'll probably buy a card, and maybe some heart shaped marshmallows, if he's lucky!

I hate to spoil this thread, but it will be my 26th Wedding Anniversary on Valentine's Day. Last year on our Silver WA we enjoyed a wonderful silver service lunch with our son and his girlfriend on board the Severn Valley Steam Railway from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. The meal was great, the scenery amazing and the pristine steam engine and its carriages a glorious sight to behold.
