Highly doubtful. I'll just toughen it out. I don't think I have a match Tuesday or Wednesday so I can recover then.
Was really just joking about the opposition, but if you have a dose of the squits or are being sick on Monday, then as Phil says, you might not have any option, unfortunate though that might be.

Relieved yourself already, Phil?
Relieved myself, listened to some drunken fuckwit have a staggeringly inane phone conversation with his equally drunken fuckwit friend for an hour ("I'm totally rhubarb!" What the ****!?) and then walked 3 miles home.
One bowl of honey nut cornflakes later, and it's sleepy time!

I think I might have Hypoglycaemia
I've suspected something was wrong with my blood sugars for a while. My dad has diabetes so I tested my sugars on his little kit thing, but I had just had a cup of tea with two sugars, and it came out as 5 point something which he said was normal. So at least I can rule out diabetes. But then I was watching telly and started feeling hungry and my whole body was shaking, mainly my legs which tremble badly sometimes when I'm hungry or after I've just walked a long way. So I went to make some lunch and as soon as I've eaten it I feel better. And this happens quite often for me
I've just always known I need to eat when I start trembling. But then I don't know how normal this is for other people?

I get this, as well as a bit of dizziness, if I'm in town I go and buy a bar of chocolate and then I'm fine although I think anything sweet would do, the doctor tested me for diabetes but said it wasn't that, my blood pressure was a bit high and I had to go back after 3 months when it was normal again, I've to go back in 6 months and see what it's like then.

Yeah I get that too. I'm thinking it might be a common thing then. Not much else can be done except for eating something. I'm thinking of testing my blood sugar next time I get the shakes and see just how low my level is.

Speaking as somebody who is also a diabetic, suggest you do test your blood sugar when you get the shakes and if it's as low as 3 then you're hypoglaecimic. Normal blood sugar levels should ideally be between 4 and 7.
By the way, do you eat regular meals? Before I was diagnosed with diabetes (type 2) I used to get the shakes, feel I was going to pass out, and feel anxious, if I let myself go too long without food.
If this is an ongoing problem, you really should see your doctor to check out a possible cause. This article might help you -

I do feel anxious quite alot and I can never explain it. I don't eat breakfast and haven't for years, but I do eat regularly. Infact, to my friends I am a pain coz if we are out somewhere like shopping I'll start moaning at some point that I need to eat something. Yesterday was where, I had had two cups of tea with two sugars in (not sure how effected 4 spoons of sugar is in your system) at about 9-10am and by 12-1 my legs where trembling really badly and my hands where shaking and I felt light headed. I made myself supernoodles on toasted bagal and when I ate it I felt so much better.
I definitely will test myself next time I get the shakyness.

Another issue I have with it is that I find I get the shakes after I've done exercise. Usually from walking a long distance like home from work sometimes and another occasion I was doing a Go Ape thing and I managed to get around three of the five courses and my legs where trembling uncontrollable and I couldn't do the rest. And the thing is I knew it would happen, and I took sandwiches and eat them all right before I started. I don't think it has anything to do with being unfit (which I am
But these things happening isn't just tiredness or lazyness).

I've had a head cold for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, it's coincided with doing the Great North Run. I went up to Newcastle with the family, not intending to run - just watch - cos I felt lousy.
Then, with an hour to start time, my wife launched into a tirade of which Churchill would have been proud, invoking the name of Jane Tomlinson, telling me how weak I was and how many people I was letting down, and I got my kit on and lumbered round. My wife makes Maggie Thatcher look like Iggle Piggle.

Yeah, cook the supernoodles (chicken flavour), toast the bagals in toaster, put the grill on and put the noodles on the bagal (cut in half) and then put some cheese on top and whack under the grill for a bit. Yum.com!!

Strongly suggest you see your doc as well. This is not right.

Well I'll test my blood the next time I get the shakes, then I'll know. There will be nothing my doc can do if I feel fine.
