I remember a close friend once said to me
“Don’t be sad that it is over, Be glad that it happened”
I like to look at things like this in that perspective.
He has brought pleasure to millions, opened up classical music to the masses helping to bring it into the main stream of popular music and left a back catalogue that will continue to do so for years to come.
His friends and family can be justly proud of the legacy he has left.

I used to love Pottyotty. I even have one of his songs on my iPod.

I got that as part of an email the other week - the positive side of life
At least we still have his music.

I thought at the time it was a bit too profound for Donna to come up with, but the sentiment remains.

That is a disgusting thing to say. I feel hurt.
Why? It wasn't directed at Americans in general, just the scum that murdered innocent women and children.

Well. You did not clarify at all. So If that is what you mean, most people would take it the wrong way.

Well I took it the way mark meant it. Probably cause that's how i;d write it as well.
On another note....
Linky
Kate McCann to be a suspect!
I'm not surprised by this move. I kinda expected it to come. Personally, I've not been sure about them from the start..... But I'm not saying more than that, cause I know nothing about the investigation. Obviously the Police think they have something so we'll see what develops in the next few days. I hope she's not involved, I really do.

Gerry has now been named as a formal suspect aswell !
im with neil on this, i am not going to comment on this as i do not know what the police have /havent got.. but it does all seem a little strange, there are reports out saying Kate was given an opportunity to take a bribe , where if she confessed she would only go to prison for 2 years, maybe the police are clutching at straws !
the truth will prevail

Well, good deal if she really did do it I guess. But if she really didn't she's not going to take any deal that tells the whole world she did kill her kid is she?

Both classed as suspects
How many times have we seen family members in similar cases, pleading for information about it, only to find out that they did it!
I sincerely hope that they haven't. That said, they should never have left them in the first place
and then they wouldn't be in this position now

Two years seems appropriate just for leaving the child alone.
