Alas probably too much to hope that UKIP won't use this....
Too late.

I wonder how this will impact the general election...
It inevitably swings people towards the right and away from Corbyn.

From what I understand is that the bomber was waiting in foyer not actually in the hall

Shocking. She's apparently been reported to the Police.

Yeah. It also means May's day of chaos is swiftly forgotten.

As well as the atrocities in Manchester, I'm extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Roger Moore to cancer.

It appears to have been a suicide bomber.
Yes I know that now. From what I understand is that the bomber was waiting in foyer not actually in the hall
That does seem to be the case tamila. Makes sense really from a terrorist point of view because it was packed with people leaving the concert and also would have more impact in a smaller space than it would have had inside the auditorium. Meanwhile campaigning has still been suspended until further notice. So this effectively gives May a chance to leave its resumption for as long as it suits her. How convenient!

I didn't know but sorry too. He had many fans who will genuinely miss him.

It is very sad, and I know how his grieving loved ones must be feeling, but at least he was 89 and had had a fulfilling and successful life, and one which gave many people a lot of pleasure.

I just wanted to reach out to Murraysworld and say how sad I am about the bombing in Manchester. You have to wonder just where you are safe these days. These sick people who feel it is okay to take the lives of young children and teenagers enjoying a concert. My prayers go out to those families who have lost someone in this tragic happening.
Also, Roger Moore, but at 89 he lived a good long life and will always be remembered.

Thank you Apollo. It's very much appreciated.
I feel the same about Roger Moore because these youngsters weren't given the chance of having a long life or the talent that might have come with it. I felt that too about the Dunblane massacre, especially when you think how close Andy and Jamie were to the tragedy.

It's funny that you bring up the Dunblane massacre, I too thought of Andy and what he went through, when I hear on the news last night. The young beautiful little girl 8 years old that was killed makes me so sad. Just a beautiful little girls life cut short.

The coverage of these atrocities has become maudlin and ghoulish.24 hour Sky news having to interview 13 year girl in floods of tears. Why exactly ? Tell us what happened and stop all the emotional .. Grief should be private .
