Me too but I don't think there's much point in continuing with this discussion because really now there's nothing to discuss, and speculation is never very helpful!
Ok, if you don't want to continue our discussion, that's all right with me.
If the subject comes up in the news in the near future I'd want to talk about it.
I'm not sure if just leaving a discussion because it's more speculation than anything, is quite right - really.
And, after all, you did start this topic of conversation anyway?
I shouldn't think the family will just drop it and continue their lives as usual?

Ouch!
Very true though, and of course the family won't just let it drop, particularly as it does seem they're taking legal action against the hotel. This is the latest development on it anyway which definitely suggests that there's more to all this than meets the eye, and it makes sense too that the hotel will want to cover it up (sorry it's a bit long) -

Chilling reading. If you like almond milk folks, check your source.

Following on from the above discussion, as someone who has swum in indoor pools all over the place in the UK, finding the deepest part of the pool on the middle would be very unexpected.

In related news, A2 milk (i.e. from brown cows) has sadly been withdrawn from the UK market. And it only gets worse for lactose intolerant sufferers, with LactoFree experiencing severe supply shortages until later this month.
That's your milk news for today. You stay classy, MurraysWorld.

But if you ever found yourself in the deepest part of the pool in the middle would you drown?

You almost certainly would if you were being sucked under!

Yes if you were being sucked under you'd drown. But if they were sucked under what made that happen - was it a fault with the pool??

I wouldn't because I'm a good swimmer, but a poor/non swimmer, confronted with the unexpected, might easily panic.

So you need to be an experienced swimmer to use that pool? Shouldn't there have been a warning that the pool was deepest in the middle?
People who go on holiday often haven't even had lessons in this country. They're not particularly strong swimmers, they haven't taken any lifesaving lessons or anything like that.
But yes someone would panic in the circumstances they found themselves.
I still think it's suspicious.

Looks as if the disgustingly cruel treatment of wild animals and birds has caused this flu outbreak in China.
Found myself agreeing with Rachel Johnson on Andrew Marr
When will they ever learn?

Sadly, probably never. What was the seafood market in question doing anyway selling live wild animals, including chickens, bats and snakes? Insanity!!

The first two cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in the UK. (England) Those involved, are two members of the same family and are being treated by the NHS.

Yes, two Chinese tourists who'd been staying for three days at a hotel in York, so goodness knows how many people they could have been in contact with, not just there but in other places they might have visited. Of course if the government had had any sense anyone coming from China shouldn't have been allowed into the country in the first place.

Agree, but depends how long they've been in the UK, I guess. And, what if York wasn't their first port of call? Nightmare!

There was a plane load flew in yesterday and in fact there may have been two! China decided the Brits could be flown home, but not the Chinese, but some of the Brits had Chinese husbands and kids who had to be left behind and then they changed their minds and decided to let them go too, just after the first plane had taken off.
It seems that the UK coach drivers who took the passengers to hospital have been given 10 days off!
