I don't think anything about God.  Shouldn't that conversation be taking place in the Religious thread?

You've stated that you aren't religious, so clearly you do have an opinion on the subject.

And I'm making a point, not trying to turn this into a religious discussion.

It's not clear to me that I have an opinion on the subject  Smile

And the point you were making was that 90% is a big number.  Yes it is.

If you state that you're not religious, you have an opinion on the subject. There's no getting away from that fact.

Repeating that over and over doesn't change anything. You cannot express your opinion on a subject and then claim that you don't have an opinion on it. lol

I find the Islam centre issue hard to deal with, my heart is deeply against it but my brain remembers the constitution. Regardless of whether it's right or wrong, I'd much prefer it not be built there.

There was a big fire near me today-the 1 that made bbc headlines in scotland. Could see the smoke all afternoon, was massive. Thankfully only 1 hurt and then not badly.

Oh right, forgot it was your neck of the woods.  70 firefighters and 12 appliances. Whistle  The video showing the smoke is a bit reminiscent of the horrendous ash clouds spewed out by the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull.

Can't believe the strength and willpower of these guys who are trapped. So brave and much stronger then I'll ever be. Great to here it will be sooner...but still so far away!

It's not a miracle. They followed procedure, into the safety shaft, had enough food/water to survive, are getting supplies now. It's just about getting them to stay mentally strong. It's not a miracle.
