Depends what you're doing. If I worked there I'd only want it to be for a year or so just for the experience, but I won't be on the big money until 6 years probably and in that time I might want to be looking for a more realistic lifestyle.

I wouldnt go to Scotland because I really wouldnt be able to cope with the accent.
Doesn't people from Inverness have a better English accent than the rest of the UK?

You'd cope with the accent just fine. You didn't have a problem with mine did you?

Plus, Mark would get to try on a kilt, and his previous hate towards them would be replaced with a sense of pride and love.

No but I generally don't like the Scottish accent so having it around me all the time would probably be an issue.

I've only ever struggled with the Scottish accent once when we had builders at my shop and one of them was Scottish but very broad. And he was a big fella too with a tattoo of a naked woman going down his arm and every time he spoke to me I was like "...... sorry?". My other problem is when I hear a really nice Scottish accent I forget to listen to what they are actually saying

Actually I was thinking about that too. I did get at least half of the conversation going on though Other times I was like "Wha....?" hehe.
