Can't believe I'm creating a thread on this and probably no one will reply but as an avid BBC News watcher one of the presenters is driving me crazy. How annoying is Robert Peston's voice?! He is the BBC's business editor and he drives me absolutely mad!!!!

I can't remember a TV presenter with such a stupid voice, he pauses his sentances in all the wrong places and also raises his voice at completely random times. Not only that but he acts like an arrogant cock!

Rory Bremner has taken the piss out of him, although his take is actually very kind, he's so much worse than that.



Anyone else heard him yet?

Go to 2:20 of the video I posted up, that's a very accurate take of his voice... god I don't understand why he hasn't been fired or at least told to sort it out

That's so weird! I saw this guy on TV the other day and thought exactly the same thing! How did he get on TV? he's enough to make anyone change channels! Although I didn't know who he was until I came  onto this thread!

I've been watching him a hell of a lot recently as he's considered the guru of the economic crisis at the moment, and I have to say, he's drastically improved his voice. Very bearable now, maybe he's actually listened to the haters
