Well, it was certainly Mark's interpretation, but it was not exactly what was said.  It's all a bit sad and pitiful.

It is a huge lie to say that Hazel simply said, 'You are a right bitch'.

And I apologised profusely. And I didn't say you were a b***h I said you were being a right bitch, which seemed out of character for you. Which was very wrong of me even if you're temperament that night meant that you were being decidedly less than friendly to most people.
I really regret it because it lost me someone who I considered a friend and got on with. If it would make you feel better feel free to say it back to me and I hope that one day you will forgive me and we'll be able to move past it. However, that is your choice to make, I only hope that you will accept my apology one day.

Anyway I'm off to bed now.
