Does leaving out the word "being" make it better or worse
YOU ARE BEING A RIGHT BITCH
Is that better, or worse.
How many times do you have to post the thing out of context in bold no less? I posted the whole thing. Taking a portion out of an entire sentence can change its meaning and that's precisely what you've done.

I'll post it as many times as I see fit. Freedom of speech and so on.

Veronica does have a very valid point though.
And in any case, I'd like to think you're old enough and smart enough to accept Hazel's apology and move on, much worse has been said on internet messageboards, trust me.

And I apologised profusely. And I say you were a b***h I said you were acting like one. Which was very wrong of me even if you're temperament that night meant that you were being decidedly less than friendly to most people.
I really regret it because it lost me someone who I considered a friend and got on with. If it would make you feel better feel free to say it back to me and I hope that one day you will forgive me and we'll be able to move past it. However, that is your choice to make, I only hope that you will accept my apology one day.
Anyway I'm off to bed now.
Goodnight everyone and see you tomorrow for Andy's match
Hazel you certainly did not apologise sincerely - you were sarcastic and caustic. And, what you actually said was
YOU ARE BEING A RIGHT BITCH
It is extremely immature and most probably unChristian for you to even suggest that I would wish to say that back to you. As I have already pointed out - although of course I am branded a LIAR - no-one, until you, has ever said that to me, and, I have never said it to anyone else. So, why you think I would start now, I have no idea.
When you hurl abuse at anyone, they do not forget it - ever. You should be aware of what you say - you cannot take it back.

As far as I am aware, Veronica is not actually a part of the discussion. It was between Hazel and I.
I'm certainly old enough and smart enough to make my own decisions about people, whether on internet messageboards or elsewhere. If people want to hurl abuse at each other, then fine. If you want to hurl it at me, I will remind you of it.

Anyone is part of the discussion here.
We are all welcome to post our opinions on a public messageboard thank you, to suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
Remember Daisy, freedom of speech eh?

Well, you may retreat into your familiar sarcastic shell, but to post the words, 'freedom of speech' and then exclude someone from a discussion on a public messageboard, amused me, it really did give me a tickle.

I was actually being genuine when I said I thought the conversation was between Hazel and I. I think it tends to be counterproductive to get endless versions of the same sentence/thought/whatever going round and round. And, you obviously know nothing about me at all to say I have a "familiar sarcastic shell" - but that doesn't matter either. You're really getting it off your chest tonight ... starting with "liar" and continuing with "familiar sarcastic shell". Do you have anything else you would like to say, or are you going to let that do for now.

I don't dwell on it every minute (believe me), but if someone is going to rub my nose in it all over again, then it definitely brings it to mind. That's generally how these things work.

Again, don't need to be so patronising.

You are the most dramatic person I have ever encountered on the Internet.
Again, saying I called you a liar, which was actually fairly spot on because the quote you had
emboldened
was wrong. I even retracted that statement, for crying out loud.
And as for being sarcastic, I think you've been here long enough for me to make an observation or two.
As I've said before to you Daisy, you are normally a really nice, appreciative and genuine person. But it is becoming increasingly difficult to take you seriously.

Well exactly, I mean, Daisy's whole account is based on the premise of a lie when you think about it.
Doesn't mean I don't like her contributions to the board otherwise, or I don't like chatting to her, but that certainly does stick in the mind when things like this occur.
