So, so patronising, haha. I function perfectly well in society, and its realms.
Based on your behaviour from tonight, we could extrapolate that using your logic, and I would say you have behaved like a foetus tonight.
I wish she had been aborted.
Too far?

Daisy, everytime I challenge you on this, you just pointblank refuse to acknowledge my questions.
Let's talk about this sentence. Would you actually use those words to, let's say your parents? One of your lecturers? If you don't want to take it that far, then let's just say someone 15 years older than you are and therefore more mature than you are - unless they are handicapped in some way. I don't actually think you would. I think you might uses that hectoring tone with your peers, but believe me, adults do not talk to each other like that. Not if they want to get on in this world.

And, I am not being patronising, although I can see why you might think I am - I am making a genuine observation. Whether you choose to accept it or not, is entirely up to you and will not put me up nor down, either way.

You are essentially calling me a child, and questioning my ability to function as an adult - if that isn't patronising, what isn't?
Oh, and if anyone else can tell me what is wrong with using the words 'challenge', and 'pointblank', then I'd love them to step forward and enlighten me. These are just words, from the English dictionary. I would use those words to my parents most definitely, there is NOTHING wrong with them whatsoever.
You are nitpicking at something that doesn't exist, purely to push attention away from the fact that you have lied to this messageboard since the inception of your account.

Okay - I'm happy for you to have the last word. Whatever you say - I'm all done.

I'm done too.
Had enough of this place in all honesty. The fact you post here unchallenged, when you caused hours and hours of stress to Mark by deleting posts as thomasredlegs, in a self-wallowing pity, sickens me slightly.
Later, folks.

Now you see, that is childish. The fact that I post unchallenged? Unchallenged what? What is it that you and James spend quite a lot of time doing .... you spend time challenging me and calling me a LIAR. If someone in authority is so concerned then I do not understand why they dont just ban me. If you think that I too am not sickened, then you are mistaken.

how about we live off a policy where if you can't say anything nice don't say nothing at all, just for a wee bit?

Daisy, I was generally despairing about your attitude and having a little giggle over the ridiculousness of this thread, but then I actually got annoyed when you said....

The fact you assume that age equates to maturity demonstrates your inability to show respect for anyone younger than yourself. You completely lack the ability to accept other peoples opinions based on their merit alone, rather finding yourself hindered by who is making them. It's incredibly patronising, and incredibly insulting.
Not to mention, I've just noticed,
"unless they are handicapped in some way"
. This strikes me as incredibly small minded and evil of you to be frankly honest. Although in reality it's probably just your ignorance. You suggest that someone who is handicapped is less mature? Absolutely ridiculous statement and something I think you should apologise for, that sort of thing could cause a lot of offence.
I entirely agree with all of Andrew's responses, and I don't blame him (and others) for being fed up of your split personalities.

I just hope Andrew is coming back. His last post looked like a farewell. I PM'd him afterwards, but he'd gone offline.

I was worried about that too
But maybe he'll just avoid this type of thread for a bit

I think it's all to do with the difference between the spoken and the printed word, which can be open to misinterpretation, particularly if you don't know the person concerned. This is where emoticons can often come in useful. I find one member pretty abrasive towards me, but obviously as we don't know each other personally, then maybe it's just the way I come across to him - maybe I rub him up the wrong way - and he responds accordingly.
People are different from their internet selfs and real life selves, me included. I can have a serious lack of confidence in real life whereas I feel more comfortable talking online.
And as far as Neil goes .... I won't go into too much to start a fight
But I think some of the things he says are blunt and honest but they can also be rude and insulting which I don't think he realises he doing.
