Quite so.  You are free to ask (although your language seems more in the demand mode, rather than ask) and I am free to decline.

The use of your demanding language removes you from the realms of adult behaviour.  If adults spoke to each other like that, there would be a blood bath around every corner.  Polite society does not behave like that.
