That's OK Elly.  I have spoken to my GP about it and he seems agreeable to me deferring it.  It's on my medical records so no doubt I'll be asked again at some future date.

No surprise that Salmond's close ally Kenny MacAskill has joined Alba.

The former Scottish justice secretary said the Alba Party that launched on Friday would help achieve independence.

The SNP have called for a by-election in response, and described his departure as "somewhat of a relief".

He is now the Alba Party's first MP at Westminster and said he would be forming an Alba Party group there.   He said the membership of Alba was "going through the roof".

He is currently a Westminster MP and talking about having an Alba group there. That makes them a fully rival party to the SNP from the get go.

Presumably Salmond is hoping to hold the balance of power after the Scottish election. But he can only do that effectively if he is willing to threaten to side with the unionists on some key issues. Still it is potentially a nightmare headache for Sturgeon.

So can we assume that those who are voting for Salmond have no qualms about his treatment of women?  It wasn’t illegal so it was okay.   So if their wives/daughters /nieces/girlfriends come home from work and say their boss has been touching them in  an inappropriate way they will just say.  “ Don’t worry, It’s just high jinx.”
