There's a reason why I used the specific term "nationalist". You're the one conflating that with SNP.
Meanwhile - and talking of ignorant nationalists - Sturgeon during the leaders debate yet again demonstrating her rank ignorance (or duplicity, your choice) of economics. A Sterlingised Scotland could borrow like any other country could it?
I didn't watch the leaders' debate, but I take your point about a Sterlingised Scotland. It also concerns me that so many independence supporters seem to think that if we became independent then we could just walk right back into the EU simply because we voted Remain in 2016, a delusion which Sturgeon and Salmond appear to have done nothing to dispel.

"This Holyrood election is like no other - when polls close at 10pm on Thursday, an overnight count will not happen. The results centres will only begin operating at 9am on Friday - nearly 12 hours after voting ends. The Covid pandemic has prompted a new way of working and because we have never had a day-time count before there can only be a rough guess on declaration times."
I should know my constituency vote possibly by Friday evening according to the list - not that I need to be told because, unless I'm seriously mistaken, the Labour candidate will be re-elected. I just hope that the SNP manage to slash their majority from what it was in 2016!

Saw a lot of young folks casting their first vote - pretty impressed by their political awareness and the research they had done prior to voting. It is really important that the young generation become politically engaged as it is their future they are voting for.
Also whatever your personal opinion of Nicola Sturgeon there seems to be general kudos to her for dealing with Jayda Fransen - her party is not welcome in Scotland.

I thought she did very well too, but some people were criticising her for calling the woman a racist because, and I quote one person, of 'her own anti-English comments'!

For your information, Boogers the building in Edinburgh is Queen Elizabeth House it is called the new flagship center.'
Maybe you should keep your big mouth shut before you accuse people of lying just because you are unwilling to accept the truth.
Er. It's an office building for civil servants. What on earth are you on about?

Now it's Humza Yousaf's turn to be accosted - by two members of the Liberal Party questioning him about the Hate Crime Bill and the treatment of women in Pakistan and making military and fascist salutes as they were escorted away after Yousaf made it plain he had no intention of engaging with them.

Lots of confusion on social media with folks thinking it was the Lib Dem’s but it’s some loony fringe movement. See Jayda Fransan polled 48 votes - Glasgow Southside well n truly rejected racism.

I can understand the confusion because she was referred to in the media as being a Liberal, but maybe they thought that the British Freedom Party meant that! Before that though she was a member of Britain First having ditched the English Defence League. In fact her Wikipedia reads like a horror story of racism and Islamophobia, so well done to Glasgow Southside!

Well if you can't work it out you must be stupid. The tories are trying to make changes to the powers of the Scottish Government, where, in Edinburgh.
Are you too thick to understand that I have said it before and you have called me a liar. It has been going on for some time you obviously you are not interested so why would I bother.

You've said a lot of stupid and trivially disprovable nonsense. It's kind of your raison d'etre. That and screeching at The English.
So put up or shut up: show me evidence that the Tories are "trying to make changes to the powers of the Scottish Government, where, in Edinburgh". And that evidence better not some wibble about the powers repatriated from the EU, because that'd be very silly.

Oh do shut up you really are stupid I gave you the address it is a new government office in Edinburgh opened by the tory government. Michael Gove has been in charge it has been opened to remove some of the powers that the devolved parliament in Scotland.
If you don't understand you really must be thick or just don't want to accept it is being run by the secretary of state for Scotland. I really don't care if you believe me or not. CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF.

So far the SNP has won 38 seats in Scotland. The list votes will be counted tomorrow hopefully we will have a majority
the tories have won 3 seats today.
The greens usually vote with the SNP but will know until tomorrow when the list votes are counted. I am sure the SNP will gain more seats anyway to be able to form an SNP government.

Well the really good news so far is that the SNP have gained three key seats, including Ruth Davidson's former seat, Edinburgh Central, and lost none. Shame they didn't manage to take Eastwood and Dumbarton though because these would have bumped up the chances of an SNP majority.
So that makes the tally so far - SNP 38, LibDems 4, Tories 3 and Labour 2.
