Your holidays are longer than mine at uni? wtf
I've taken very few holidays this year, so I'm having it all at Christmas

I thought uni people got loads of time off? My last day is today and I'm back on the 4th, that'll do me
Yeah they do, Julia will be getting LOADS more holiday time than I can have.

At the end of the year, you will have had a hell of a lot more holiday time than me or any other working person, I've just left most of my holiday allowance for Christmas which is why it's longer than yours.

I'm on holiday after tomorrow and I just realised tonight that I didn't work it out properly, so now I will be making sure I get three extra days due to public holidays.
My holiday is now from 21 December with me returning to work on 14 January...
What're you going to do with all that time off?

I'll be spending a week in Belfast with Cate's family but apart from that, haven't got anything planned
I've been there many times but this time I feel a little uneasy after I researched on the Shankill Butchers the other day

They just went about kidnapping and then brutally murdering random people from the street, they made the assumption they were catholic simply based on where they were walking. They hung one guy upside down and skinned him alive.
Their jail sentances werent even that bad because of lack of evidence for some of the murderers and the Good Friday Agreement. I read that one of the lead guys is still walking the streets of Belfast.

These guys are on another level, it just amazes me how for such a long time these types of crimes were regularly commited without punishment.

There are some terrible people out there ..... stay in brightly lit places and go out in a group. I'm handing out good advice that I haven't always followed. I was walking down the back of the very dimly lit Alamo (San Antonio, Texas) - not alone, but there were only two of us. Two guys (apparently bums) came shuffling along towards us and one of them had a bandage round his head. He moved in very close and asked for money - my escort gripped my elbow very tightly and said, keep walking and DO NOT LOOK BACK. I'm telling you ...... the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up and I could "feel" the knife in my back - as good as. Moral of the tale - do what I say, not what I do ....

Yup and all these horrific murders happened at night, so to be safe just stay at home at night!
I've probably been to Belfast about 10 times now and yet this is the first time I feel uneasy, probably completely irrational
