Its good to be vigulent and just watch out for yourself. I'm going town tonight, and as a regular thing Wigan has started doing at Christmas is putting police and metal detectors at either end of the street with all the pubs and clubs on coz they've had a few problems in the past with stabbings and drugs. The police will be checking everyones eyes going through too.

Yup and all these horrific murders happened at night, so to be safe just stay at home at night!
I've probably been to Belfast about 10 times now and yet this is the first time I feel uneasy, probably completely irrational
Not irrational ..... when you're 17 you believe you're invinceable ........ and
then
, you start to realise you're not ....

No just use torches I think, from what I remember. Or a special torch.

Indeed, I'm extremely protective of my life.

Just stay alert ..... day or night. You have to be careful when you're in a metroplex, no matter which one. Someone is always looking to part you from your money etc .....

There's a lot of people who still think that way probably, but those types of murders have pretty much stopped I think.

Well, the end result is likely to be the same .... whether you're dead for one reason or another, makes no difference ..... dead is dead .... I'd be a whole lot more worried about a crackhead wondering where his next fix is coming from .....

Julia, considering uni is usually like a 4-5 hour day (maximum), complaining about only having a 2.5 week Xmas holiday is a bit spoilt.

I was actually asking Tommy, but I'm glad that you are grand .....
AND I'm glad the hamster is not dead
AND I'm not glad that it is snowing again RIGHT NOW .... I'm supposed to go to the beauty parlor tomorrow and don't want to be slipping on the pavement ....

I did wonder if the question was directed at me....
The snow is lying on the ground..... I love it....
The hamster is gnawing away at his cage as we speak. He's grown his winter coat and has all these tufts of hair around him....
Wear wellies to go to the Beauty place...... with thick, sexy socks!
