It's getting daylight now.  Hopefully I'll get up fresh for the match tomorrow!

Independence dead. Salmond gone. Robertson gone. Sheila Ahmed gone. Monaghan gone. I'll take that.
It always was dead after the 2014 result, and only the true zoomers believed there would be another IndyRef.   This is why Sturgeon has been stupid in banging on about it instead of getting on with the busy of running the country more efficiently.

Being a bit of a night owl I'm quite used to seeing dawn breaking at this time of year, but this is late now even for me.

Edinburgh East held by the SNP by 3,500 votes.  No surprise that because Labour all but stopped campaigning there latterly.  Also Tommy Sheppard has been one of the best MPs that constituency has ever had.  This should make my campaigning friend very happy when he wakes up!

OK.  I'm off to bed now too.  What will be will be and there's nothing we can do about it now.

She's a hoot in real life.  Very down to earth.

Apparently she demanded a 5th recount, which was refused, so she finally accepted the result.  God knows what her problem was once it was confirmed she'd won.  She's a bit of a headcase anyway.  Never liked her.

And now I really am going to bed!!!

The Conservatives won here even though I voted Labour!  I'm looking forward to Andy's match later - and to  a resignation speech from Theresa !  Oh happy day Smile
