I had a horlicks before I went to bed and I managed to get to sleep fair quickly. But then I woke at half 1 and can't go back. I've read my book, played my ds and nothing! Just made a hot milk with a drab of my dads whisky in so I'm hoping it'll knock me out. Note to self - when I move out, I need to purchase a bottle of whisky for occasions such as these.
I'm so annoyed though, the last two nights I've only been dropping off at like 4am - what's the crack??

Hmm...now that is annoying. The whiskey would have me out in 30 seconds though! hahaha
You must be stressing.

So guess what, I can't sleep! Quite clearly my body can sense that a grand slam is in play and is trying to adjust to the time zone.

Clearly.
Ah, it was just last year that I was staying up at 3am watching the final.
I will be a zombie at school these next two weeks.

It is not easy being a tennis fan. Not easy at all! Someone's got to do it though

Listen to a Richard Dawkins audio book... his voice is so damn soothing it gets me sleeping in no time.
Chris Hitchens on the other hand is not so good on that front.

Too sore to sleep, too uncomfortable to sleep...and when I do I just wake up in the same state to start the next day in the same manner. Why do I bother? The pain gets worse, I don't cope as well, it's a constant battle to get benefits and treatment, and I'm stuck as a dependent adult who needs her parents to care for her financially as well as practically.
If it wasn't for God then I'd just end it all-and that's only because he'd be pissed if I did.
Oh and I've also become the worlds greatest whinge which also annoys me! Damn it I need sleep!

Jeez! Sorry Hazel! Whilst I like Mark's advice i always find that getting up for a drink or something helps. Anything is better than pressurising yourself to get to sleep.
Sorry your not doing to good. At least there is a slam on?
